To be honest I'm starting anew with this LJ mainly because it became a requirement in joining arashi fandom. Became casual fan since 2007 i think but never create LJ to join the community, only watch a show that i can found after scouring the internet. But, as it get harder and harder to find a subbed video without actually joining a community, I'm slowly backing up from arashi fandom and only watch their drama and occasionally their music show.
Then, in 2010-2011 I got sidetrack by Kpop, well mainly by suju and shinee and finding their subbed show is easier without having to join any community. But then real life came about, school and job took almost all the time i had and fandom life get thrown in the background again.
I think I have a small aversion to social media cause I'm introvert, so it is a bit hard for me to join something and it still feel weird that I'm writing here in the internet that anybody could see, although I doubt anybody would.
I'm one of those old school that think if I wanna write something then I write it in some kind of journal for me to read latter or talk about it with my friend. So i think me writing here gonna be sparse at best if none at all except for thanking the subber in arashi community if I got accepted to join them in which I hope they would.
When do I get back to arashi fandom?
I have to take care my bedridden grandma in 2016 so in between taking care of her I started to watch old video of arashi again. So I started to crawled back to the black hole of arashi fandom.
When my grandma died early this year, arashi is what distracted and help me cope with it.
Now that I'm back in the fandom and it still hard to find subbed video that aren't locked, I said to myself "Hey, take a leap! try join arashi comm and write something first in LJ (that you never use and forgot the password) so they don't think you try to steal their sub or something."
So here's to the leap I make in hoping to join the community and the courage to just click the join button. (^ ^)
